Across all three main tournaments held over the weekend, we saw several players manage to snag top spots for different formats. One player even obtained a double crown, winning two of three tournaments. A wealth of Æmber was harvested and shaped in the heat of competition, yet a select few courageous individuals truly deserve to have their names immortalized in glory.

Sealed

Since its reintroduction as a major competitive format in the 2024 season, Sealed continues to be a popular format. 45 players participated, making it the largest tournament on the weekend. Some even reported coming just for this tournament.

Players were expected to compete using 1-3 sealed decks of KeyForge: Æmber Skies and constructed using the Alliance deck mechanics.

Sealed allows players to swap house pods from their three decks between rounds. Because of this, we do not have a detailed breakdown of the houses used, pod selections, or top cards of this tournament.

ARCHON

Archon welcomed 32 participants on Saturday. Many players reaped the wild winds of KeyForge: Æmber Skies, though KeyForge: Grim Reminders continued to haunt Archon with respectable deck representation numbers. KeyForge: Tokens of Change was a close 3rd, with the rest of the represented sets posting only single-digit numbers.

Geistoid took an absolutely ghoulish number of deck representations at 20 decks and nearly 20% of total houses fielded. The mad scientists of Logos tied with the dashing rogues of Skyborn for 2nd place among decks. Many of the other houses of the Crucible put up respectable, if single-digit, numbers. Alliance

Alliance ran simultaneously with Archon on Saturday. It saw 10 participants forge alliances. Because of the smaller attendance number, Ghost Galaxy followed its own advice and used the Top 2 cut suggested in the Tournament Rules & Guidelines. Prizes were still awarded to the Top 8.

There was no single dominant set within the Alliance field, though some sets like KeyForge: Age of Ascension and KeyForge: Worlds Collide were notably present. One player event tried the newly released KeyForge: Vault Masters 2025!

Scientists of Logos faced their demons as they battled Dis for the top house among representations at nine decks apiece. Most of the houses of the Crucible that appeared Archon also manifested here, but notably absent were the high-flying antics of the Skyborn. Alliance saw this top 10 house breakdown:

Second Æmber

Players who got knocked out of the main tournaments on Friday and Saturday could participate in the Second Æmber tournaments where they could earn chances to win a variety of prizes including sealed KeyForge decks, deck boxes, and even a spot a surprise KeyForge: Prophetic Visions pre-release mini-tournament!

Over 46% of eliminated players joined Second Æmber to continue forging. A total of 22 players competed in 87 games across the weekend. The winners of Second Æmber, that is to say those who had the most wins after joining, were ReddTrain for Friday and a three-way tie between Odinsonnah, FlightlessPheasant, and WizardRandom on Saturday. Congratulations on your performances, o’ Reapers of Æmber!

Another of the surprises up Ghost Galaxy’s sleeves this weekend was the announcement of a Vault Tour Deck Accolade for all decks participating in Vault Tour 2025. This gives everyone a way to make their attendance on the Vault Tour known by tagging their special decks!

We also introduced our first eight decks to the Hall of the Ascended, with their own special accolades to cement their legacy in the annals of KeyForge history. Ascension removes these decks from Organized Play until the KeyForge World Championships (additional rules governing Ascension are in the TRG).
