KeyForge Celebration is the type of event that always aims to offer a monumental number of ways to play and engage with KeyForge and the KeyForge community. That includes our line-up of tournaments, which accounts for no less than seven major tournaments across the weekend. Several of our attendees found spots in the invite-only World Championships, and no less than six champions were crowned across the course of the weekend.

Below are the results of each tournament and the decks each player used on their epic journey. If you are looking for a less competitive-focused recap of KeyForge Celebration 2025, check out our event recap article.

Our Last Chance Qualifier, or LCQ, was a Sealed event that acted as a way for players who were not yet qualified for a World Championship to secure a spot from the pool of unclaimed seats. A total of 130 hopeful participants joined us on Thursday to compete for their spots in the Sealed, Archon, and Alliance World Championships. It was the largest Sealed event all year!

The tournament did not culminate in a definitive Top 8. Competition continued until the number of players remaining closely matched the available seats in the World Championships. Players were then ranked based on their losses and Strength of Schedule to determine who would claim the open spots.

Players utilized KeyForge: Prophetic Visions for the event and received a pre-scanned packet of sealed decks, enabling Ghost Galaxy to meticulously track each deck used in the tournament. We believe these security protocols played a crucial role in maintaining the tournament’s integrity and facilitated a swift check-in process.

The Sealed format inherently limits a detailed analysis of the houses and cards in play, as players can modify their decks between rounds to take advantage of all nine house pods at their disposal. Only the decklists of undefeated players are provided.

Below are the names, selected format, and decks of the only players who were left undefeated at the end of the LCQ. These players were allowed to join any World Championship of their choice.

The Sealed World Championship, the second ever held for KeyForge, was on Friday and saw the 24 best Sealed players from around the world compete for the title of Sealed World Champion. Also on the line was a place among the Vault Warriors (if not already inducted).

This was an invite-only tournament, which players had to earn an invite for by winning or placing second at a Vault Tour stop or National Championship, having an invite slide down to their position, or being one of the lucky top finishers in the Last Chance Qualifier.

Players utilized KeyForge: Prophetic Visions in pre-scanned deck packets for the World Championship tournament. At the conclusion of each round, the judge staff took control and inspected all decks.

Since this tournament was the Sealed format, a comprehensive analysis of the houses and decks is not feasible. We can only share the deck lists that were utilized. The ones provided are for the Top 8.

Also on Friday was our second annual Sealed Open tournament, held for those who had not qualified for the Sealed World Championship. It was the second-largest Sealed tournament in 2025, and the largest Open tournament on the weekend, welcoming 113 participants.

Similar to the LCQ, the Sealed Open utilized pre-scanned deck packets to ensure security. Upon opening these packets, players discovered decks from KeyForge: Prophetic Visions

Archon returned to the World Championship stage on Saturday, the third tournament of its kind, inviting 24 of the best Archon players from around the world to compete for the title of Archon World Champion. Also on the line was a place among the Vault Warriors (if not already inducted).

This was an invite-only tournament, which players had to earn an invite for by winning or placing second at a Vault Tour stop or National Championship. It invited no players from the Last Chance Qualifier as it was already full.

KeyForge: Prophetic Visions was fielded by 70% of the players, with sets like KeyForge: Æmber Skies, KeyForge: Tokens of Change, and even the once-dominant KeyForge: Grim Reminders only making up a small portion of the remaining field. Here’s the set selection breakdown:

Logos, Dis, and Shadows have been the new classics when it comes to house combinations with KeyForge: Prophetic Visions, and this was most definitely the case with Archon Worlds. Every other house saw single-digit deck representations, with the once dominant Geistoid being a shade of its former self in 5th place. Here’s the full house selection breakdown:

The majority of the most used cards come from Shadows, and the majority of the top decks most certainly used strong Shadows stealing with support from either an opponent controlling Dis or an efficient Logos (some did both!). Here are the 10 most used cards from the entire field:

Held on Saturday for those who had not qualified for the Archon or Alliance World Championships, the Archon Open saw the participation of 75 players. It was the largest non-Sealed tournament on the weekend.

This tournament saw a wider diversity of decks than Archon Worlds, with KeyForge: Prophetic Vision dropping to slightly under half of the overall field. However, no other set was close to the number of fielded decks, and KeyForge: Æmber Skies was the only other set to reach double-digits. We can see the entire set makeup of the Archon Open here:

As with Archon Worlds, the same story is told in the top houses with this tournament: Logos, Dis, and Shadows were the ones to beat. Shadows saw a dip in representations as there were many alternative support houses players considered viable. Nearly all houses were seen in at least one deck, with many of them having double-digit representations. Here’s the house selection breakdown for the Archon Open:

The control and tempo side of Dis showed up more frequently in the Top 10 cards for the Archon Open. Just like Archon Worlds, Dis was often supported by Logos’ efficiency. Shadows had far fewer cards on the list, but Bandit Culver had a repeat showing. Interestingly, Geistoid landed a most-used card with In Here Somewhere. These are the 10 most used Archon Open cards:

Alliance joined Archon in returning for a third year as a World Championship format and was held at the same time on Saturday. This tournament had 24 players, all of whom were among the greatest Alliance players in the world.

This was an invite-only tournament, which players had to earn an invite for by winning a taking first or second at a Vault Tour stop or National Championship, or being one of the lucky top finishers in the Last Chance Qualifier.

KeyForge: Prophetic Visions was once again preferred by most entrants, having five times the fielded decks of the next highest set, KeyForge: Grim Reminders. It was the only tournament to feature KeyForge: Age of Ascension. Players used the following sets for this tournament:

Logos and Dis remained popular picks, but Shadows fell to a far smaller portion of the field. Star Alliance surged to fill the gap in this format, likely due to their strong Fate effects in KeyForge: Prophetic Visions. There were many other houses represented, but none of the others broke double-digits as picks. House representation for Alliance Worlds was like so:

Alliance saw the powerful Fates of Logos and Star Alliance take center stage, supported once again by the control of Dis. Most strategies revolved around taking away the opponent’s options proactively with Reiteration and Rage Reset or giving them no options at all with cards like Atrocity, Cosmic Recompense, and Strategic Feint. In Here Somewhere also managed to make a list again, which is quite a feat given Geistoid’s low number of deck representations. Here are the top 10 used cards:

Battles raged across the weekend and Archons clashed. Competition was fierce, but ultimately we ended with these six champions: Dave C, Willy510, Ellimac, NedMike, Varghast, and Dorian11. A big congratulations to these exceptional players. Watching you perform at the highest levels was a pleasure, and you should be proud of your remarkable accomplishments. Thanks for being legendary.

Everyone else should also stand tall, from the Top 8 finishers highlighted in this article to those who finished last in every tournament. Not all players can be champions. In fact, to declare a champion, many participants in a tournament must face defeat. However, this does not mean that your efforts were in vain, nor that your struggles went unnoticed. You were the reason the journey of our champions was worthwhile. You were worthy adversaries.
