The Road to Nationals

Published On: May 13, 2024

Archons may ascend, nations may rise and fall, but the fires of the Crucible burn eternal.

The KeyForge 2024 Vault Tour is underway, welcoming many Archons with the chance to win the title of Vault Warrior and an invite to the KeyForge 2024 World Championship in November 2024. However, the Vault Tour is not the only way to qualify!

KeyForge 2024 National Championships are premiere-level events that allow players to compete for the chance to become their country’s National Champion and an invite to the World Championship!

Ghost Galaxy is searching for organizers in non-US territories to organize and run these prestigious events. Interested organizers should read below and apply before May 31, 2024, to be considered for their National Championship event.

Before you Apply

National Championships are a large commitment. Events must take place across 2-3 days within the same weekend and feature all three of KeyForge’s main tournament formats: Sealed, Archon, and Alliance. Furthermore, events must be able to host a minimum attendance of 32 participants, with an ideal number of seats being closer to 64. Judging and event staff sourcing is also the responsibility of organizers, though Ghost Galaxy will do its best to help.

Organizers who believe they can fulfill these requirements must apply before May 31, 2024. After an application is approved for the next steps, Ghost Galaxy will contact the organizer to confirm event details such as date, time, and venue. All details of an event must be finalized before June 30, 2024. Once event details are confirmed, the event will be added to the National Championship information page.

For the Players

We announced in our Organized Play article that we planned to have details in March. Unfortunately, that timeline proved elusive. Even so, we are committed to delivering great events for players around the world!

Additional National Championship information will be shared right here at KeyForging.com. Details on the scope of the events will be shared as more of them become finalized. National Championships will include participation prizes for up to 64 participants, and additional prizes for the Top 8 and Second Æmber participants. We hope you’re ready to show up for your local organizers and make these events the best they can be!

See you in the Crucible!
