Recapping International Vault Tours: Vietnam
Our partner, d20 Board Game Cafe, is the leader of the KeyForge Vietnam network in their region. For several years, they have been at the forefront of expanding the KeyForge community by hosting a variety of events, including a Vault Tour stop. This year, they proudly welcomed 33 enthusiastic players to their second Vault Tour, which took place from August 15-17, 2025.
We invite you to join Ghost Galaxy for the rest of October as we look back on this and other international Vault Tour events in anticipation of our Organized Play finale, KeyForge Celebration.
Congratulations to all our new and returning international Vault Warriors – We look forward to seeing you at the Celebration!
A River of Æmber
Ho Chi Minh City, the location of this event, is a place defined by the Saigon river and various canals. Across three thrilling tournaments, the Archons of Vietnam reaped rivers of Æmber to rival the Saigon in pursuit of their champions. A number of competitors who had previously made it to the top cuts before did so again, including the reigning Archon World Champion (Bamboo). Even so, some new faces managed to achieve victory and an invite to the World Championships!
The Hall of the Ascended saw additional decks added, with special accolades to show off their accomplishments. As a reminder, Ascension removes these decks from Organized Play (additional rules governing Ascension are in the TRG). It’s possible that one of these decks will seize glory again when all decks are unleashed for the World Championships and Open tournaments at KeyForge Celebration in November!
As the river flows, so now do we towards the honors and accolades of our glorious finalists.
Sealed
Saturday of the event was the Sealed tournament, which welcomed 33 players. Players quickly discovered whether their visions of fate would come to pass, as the tournament unfolded in a single day culminating in a Top 8.
Players competed using 1-3 sealed decks of KeyForge: Prophetic Visions. Decks were constructed using the Alliance deck mechanics.
Sealed allows players to swap house pods from their three decks between rounds. Because of this, we do not have a detailed breakdown of the houses used, pod selections, or top cards of this tournament.

ARCHON
Sunday capped the event with Archon, seeing 31 players try their best to become a new champion. Ultimately, the reigning Archon World Champion, Bamboo, triumphed over all opponents to demonstrate exactly why she remains the best.
KeyForge: Prophetic Visions maintained the top spot in deck representations, a spot it has enjoyed since release. KeyForge: Æmber Skies made up another quarter of the field, with those players perhaps looking to punish Prophetic Visions for the lighter creature control those decks tend to have. The complete field for Archon was:
Logos, powerful in both KeyForge: Prophetic Visions and KeyForge: Æmber Skies, was the favorite house. Dis was only barely in the second place slot. Geistoid, which has been less of a favorite recently, did manage to rise to third in the rankings of houses. The top 10 houses were:
- Logos (18 decks)

- Geistoid (10 decks)

Alliance
Friday kicked off the event with Alliance, which had 25 hopeful participants forge their best house pods into Alliance decks. The story of the set spread is much the same as Archon. KeyForge: Prophetic Visions held the top spot, KeyForge: Æmber Skies was behind that, and KeyForge: Grim Reminders had its ever-present true believers. Notably, since this was before the Archon tournament, it’s possible some players wanted some practice with versions of what they would be using later in the weekend. The full field was:
As with the set spread, the house representations for Alliance were largely the same as Archon, with some houses sliding up or down one to two rankings. There were two surprising absences, Skyborn and Unfathomable. Alliance had this top 10 house breakdown:
