The US leg of Vault Tour 2024 concluded In Las Vegas. For three action-packed days, Alexis Park Resort, our returning host and hotel partner from the 2023 season, welcomed 72 players in the searing heat to reap Æmber, forge keys, and compete for the ultimate KeyForge title: Vault Warrior.

Three tournaments were completed across the weekend in each of KeyForge’s competitive formats: Sealed, Archon, and Alliance. Champions who did not already hold the Vault Warrior title attained it and were awarded an invite to the KeyForge 2024 World Championship in November in addition to all their other prizes.

Players braved 120°F temperatures to complete three main tournaments held over the weekend, narrowing down to the Top 8 of each and crowning three tournament champions. Several players managed to snag top spots for different formats, as was the case with Vault Tour Roseville, Vault Tour Rochester, Vault Tour San Antonio, and Vault Tour Baltimore. The fires of the Crucible (and Las Vegas) burned hot, and hardened new and old champions in the forge of competition. Let us now celebrate their glorious victories!

Sealed

After five tour stops, the results are in, KeyForge players love Sealed as a major competitive format. Las Vegas saw 69 players sign up on Friday to play in the event. Ghost Galaxy is truly grateful to players for making the return of Sealed such a great success!

Players were expected to compete using 1-3 sealed KeyForge: Grim Reminders decks constructed using the Alliance deck mechanics.

Sealed allows players to swap house pods from their three decks between rounds. Because of this, we do not have a detailed breakdown of the houses used, pod selections, or top cards of this tournament.

Archon

Archon welcomed 52 participants on Saturday. KeyForge: Grim Reminders reaped the majority of the total field, making up 67.3% or 35 of the decks. KeyForge: Winds of Exchange was the next highest, but still blown away as it was only in single-digit representation. Grim Reminders was the clear favorite. Here’s the full field breakdown:

A large swath of Grim Reminders of course brings the ghostly shenanigans of Geistoid, who was the most represented house over second place by a full 10 decks. The question of who makes better allies was fought over by Mars and Brobnar, with Mars eking out slightly more representations. The top 10 houses are:

Alliance

Alliance ran simultaneously with Archon on Saturday. It saw 18 participants forge alliances. Because of the smaller attendance number, Ghost Galaxy decided to run to a Top 4 Cut. Players still received prizes all the way down to the Top 8 placement.

The presence of KeyForge: Grim Reminders was still felt in this tournament, though it was not a run-away favorite. KeyForge: Age of Ascension rose to the second spot. Many of KeyForge’s sets were represented in Alliance in great numbers, making a fairly balanced field. This is the set breakdown:

Logos, Mars, and Untamed all tied for the top spot among house representations, and overall the house representations were quite balanced. Notably low on representations were Saurian and Sanctum, with just one deck each. The full house breakdown was:
