KeyForge 2025 National Championships
National Championships are grand competitions where players can vie for the title of their nation’s Champion and secure a spot at the KeyForge World Championship. These events cater to those who aspire to go beyond their local gaming scene and forge their own legendary path to the World Championship, showcasing their skills in intense KeyForge battles against formidable rivals.
Even if you’re not aiming for the National Champion title, anyone can enjoy a weekend filled with KeyForge by participating in a National Championship. These gatherings highlight the vibrant KeyForge communities around the world and bring together the most dedicated players in the country for a memorable experience (organizers looking to facilitate these events should see below).
Step onto the Battleline
National Championships will take place from August 1, 2025 until September 30, 2025 and each take place over a single weekend event that features all three of KeyForge’s competitive formats: Sealed, Archon, and Alliance. See additional details about competitive formats here.
National Championships are a Premier-level event within the Organized Play series, aimed at highlighting competitive KeyForge and providing access to the World Championships. Participation will require a digital Event Key for each tournament in addition to any ticket fees set by the organizer.
Specific dates for National Championship events will depend on the local organizer and region. Players should check the National Championship information page for further details. Those National Championships sanctioned by Ghost Galaxy will have their relevant information listed under Locations & Dates.
Please note that for the 2025 Organized Play season, no National Championship will be held in nations that already host a Vault Tour event. As Vault tour events already act as World Championship qualifiers, having those nations also host a National Championship was unnecessary and diluted past events.

Reign Victorious
An event support kit from Ghost Galaxy will accompany each National Championship, and will include prize support for up to 32 players (larger events may have additional support, subject to communication and approvals between the organizer and Ghost Galaxy). Support packages will also feature promotional materials.
Players can look forward to hanging out with like-minded KeyForge enthusiasts for a whole weekend, as well as receiving a small participation prize for attending. Extra prizes will be available for all Top 8 finishers. National Champions will receive special rewards including a digital trophy, called a Deck Accolade, for their winning decks!
Finally, the National Championships serve as a gateway to the KeyForge 2025 World Championship. Both the 1st and 2nd place finishers at each National Championship tournament will secure an invitation to the KeyForge 2025 World Championship!*
* – Invites will pass to the next place finisher if the recipient is already qualified. Each format must be qualified for separately. Those qualified for multiple World Championship formats may not be able to participate in all formats.
