Last Chance Qualifier

Join us for the the second annual KeyForge Celebration Last Chance Qualifier!

KeyForge Celebration kicks off with its now traditional opening tournament: the Last Chance Qualifier (or "LCQ"). This tournament gives participants the exciting opportunity to qualify for the World Championships (see below). Attendees already qualified for a World Championship event need not sit out, all may come for the fun and additional prize support included with this tournament!

Please arrive before the close of Registration. The first 30 minutes of the tournament will be the "Forging of Alliances" in which players will open their sealed decks and select which house pods they would like to use to form their deck per standard Sealed rules.

The tournament will conclude when the number of remaining players is less than or equal to the number of World Championship seats available, in the evening of Thursday November 7, 2024. This top cut will be solely for the purposes of awarding World Championship seats and will not be leading to a bracketed final stage. Players will be ranked and offered open World Championship seats (if any) from highest to lowest rank.

Sealed, Playstile 2LO
45 Minute Best-of-1 Rounds, Modified Top Cut (No Finals)

Requirements:
Players must purchase ticket that includes the Last Chance Qualifier option.
The event will require one (1) Event Key spent from a player's Master Vault account.
Players will be provided 3 sealed KeyForge: Grim Reminders decks in order to participate.
Players must sleeve deck(s) in opaque sleeves during the event (a set will be provided).

Additional Details:
The top placing finisher of the event with be granted one seat in the 2024 World Championship of their choice.

Additional top placing finishers will be called upon in ranked standing order, and once called may claim one open seat (if any) in the Sealed, Archon, or Alliance World Championship. Open seats in the World Championship events will be offered to participants in final standing order of this tournament (first by final result and then by strength-of-schedule score). Open seats are only available if invited World Championship players (who placed first in Vault Tours OR first or second in National Championships) do not attend. We cannot guarantee that any open seats will be available.

Please Note: Players qualified for Archon or Alliance may claim open spots for Sealed if not already qualified. Players may chose to swap an Alliance qualification for an Archon qualification (or vice versa) if they are called upon in standing order. Players already invited to all three World Championships are not eligible for open seats (but may participate in the tournament, they are simply skipped when open seats are evaluated). Players who do not wish to participate in the World Championships may forfeit an open seat to the next place finisher. All decisions are final.
